For visiting preachers, the following information will be useful:
We use Hymns and Psalms, Singing the Faith and the old blue book of Mission Praise (up to number 281). The preacher is asked to wear a lapel microphone with a small power pack which will fit into a pocket or onto a waistband. We record the morning service for the benefit of our housebound friends, who will listen to the service on cd later in the week.
We can usually provide PowerPoint. Please contact Vicky on 01752 721087 for more details.
Our Minister is keen to cater for young children by having a short address aimed at their level of understanding inserted at each morning service. Also alternate months we have a Parade Service for the uniformed organisations during Morning Worship, this is kept to a shorter time of approximately 45 minutes.
We celebrate Holy Communion twice monthly either during the morning or evening worship. Here we operate an "open table" whereby all those who love the Lord are welcome to partake of the sacraments.
A Children's Corner is available for much younger children within the church.
